Grade 5 Drum Kit Work Book.

Welcome to the 'Grade 5 Work Book' where the standard has been increased by a big step with rudiment studies being the fore front of most chapters.
You are now at a stage where smaller details of stick control is assessed and worked on, as well as bouncing techniques and progressive foot control.
Sub genres have been introduced broadening your knowledge of individual genres and a larger understanding of how beats are constructed in each style.
You may find each chapter now takes longer to get right and a practise routine must be in place to allow you to progress and remember. You may find your teacher will moan at you for not practising and they will do this because the chances are, if you haven't practised, you would have forgot what was taught before and the teacher will need to repeat the lesson.
Practise lots, work hard on this book and become a better drummer for it.
